Denise Davis is a dynamic singer and entertainer from Detroit whose high-energy performances energizes audiences wherever she appears. Backed by veteran musicians, Denise and her band will “get the party started” and “keep the party going” all night long!
Denise is the lead singer for Denise Davis & The Motor City Sensations and the DB Experience. She also performs with Leilani and Blaq Candy. Each has its own configuration and song stylings to give clients a variety of options to satisfy their audience and budget.
Denise and her bands have a wide repertoire of songs to choose from. Their versatility allows them to switch moods from Pop, to Funk, to R&B, to Blues, to Motown in rapid succession. They know how to Rock the stage.
Denise and her bands have performed for major corporations like General Motors, Google, Amazon, Netgear and the University of Michigan. Major events include the Arts, Beats & Eats Festival, Detroit Winterblast, Detroit River Days, The Michigan State Fair, The Concert of Colors, The African World Festival, the Idlewild Music Festival and The Detroit Free Press Marathon. Major venues include Hollywood Casino, Greektown Casino, Motor City Casino, Soaring Eagle Casino, The Detroit Princess Riverboat, The Andiamo and The Aretha Franklin Jazz Cafe at Music Hall. When it comes to Media features, Denise and her bands have appeared on WDIV-TV and FOX 2 Detroit.
Denise has had the thrill of performing with music greats like Martha Reeves, The Contours, The Mary Jane Girls, Midnight Star, Chico DeBarge, Regina Belle and members of The Motown Funk Brothers. In 2015, Denise was honored as “Entertainer of the Year” by The Detroit Black Music Awards Organization.

It rained, so instead of an outdoor concert we had to move under a tent. Denise was unflappable and worked the problem to make sure everyone had a good experience. We plan to have the Motown party as our final summer event moving forward and Denise Davis and the Motor City Sensations will definitely be our band of choice.
