Well-known in Michigan as the State’s pioneer in hypnosis, Jim serves as a consultant and hypnosis instructor for doctors, dentists, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and policemen. An Adrian College graduate, he is certified as a clinical hypnotist with the Ethical Hypnosis Training Center, and he is certified in psychotherapeutic hypnosis training with William S. Kroger, M.D., and Herbert Spiegel, M.D. Hoke designed the stop-smoking and weight control hypnosis clinics conducted by him and his staff for American Lung Association Affiliates in 74 cities throughout 11 states and for the March of Dimes, 52 community programs in Michigan, and 92 Michigan Adult Education programs.
